Brody Buck is an American performing artist and creative. Born in Denver, Colorado, Brody began his acting journey at a young age through school productions. At age 13, after moving with his family to Bellingham, Washington, Brody joined the youth choir and started to participate musical productions. Having found a new love for song and dance, Brody continued to get involved with as many local productions as possible. He participated in over 20 productions through BAAY! (Bellingham Arts Academy for Youth) and other companies within Whatcom County.
In high school, Brody auditioned and became a part of the competitive show/chamber choir (Bellingham High School Showstoppers) his freshman year. By his senior year was president of both the choir and drama club. Brody's favorite shows from his teenage years include West Side Story (Jet), Chicago (Amos), The Drowsy Chaperone (George), and Pippin (Featured Dancer).
It was always very clear to Brody that he wanted to have a career in the arts. Entering into high school, Brody started to take his craft more seriously and began to take private voice lessons from Edward Cook. Brody picked up his dance skills through the various musicals he participated in and continued to act through his school theatre program.
Amidst graduating high school during the pandemic, Brody auditioned for collegiate musical theatre programs across the United States. On a whim, Brody took a chance and applied to the Institute of the Arts Barcelona in Sitges, Spain. Having been accepted, Brody packed up his bags and with the support of his family, moved abroad to study his passion for three years.
At the Institute of the Arts Barcelona (IAB), Brody began to refine his skills as a professional in the industry while training with his classmates that soon became life long friends. Having chosen the dance pathway, Brody was trained in jazz, ballet, tap, commercial, and dabbled in silks/hoop. Brody continued to take private voice lessons from both Raymond Tait and and still to this day, Joan Vazquez.
While in university, Brody had the opportunity to perform in six main stage productions, those of which included The Wild Party - La Chiusa (Oscar D'Armano), Into the Woods (Mysterious Man), and We Will Rock You (Buddy).
Brody graduated in 2024 with a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Musical Theatre from the IAB. This degree is accredited by the Liverpool John Moores University in the United Kingdom.
Currently based in Barcelona, Spain, Brody's dedicated work landed him a professional contract straight out of university. After graduation, Brody spent the summer in Spain and was invited to London to sing backing vocals for a West End concert called Roles We'll Never Play at the Lyric Theatre. That fall, Brody started his contract as a Dancer/Singer for Carnival Cruise Line Entertainment and spent 8 months dancing his way through the Caribbean. Getting to perform on a professional stage every week while getting to travel was the highlight of Brody's time aboard the Carnival Pride.
Brody has also worked behind the scenes. He founded the theatre company Little Lemon Productions with Adaryn Healy in 2019. Together they produced and directed 13! The Musical.
